How does His House Ministries accept members?
Placing faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
of your life and being scripturally baptized by immersion,
one can take a church membership 101 course and become a
member.
What do I wear to services at His House Ministries?
We accept attendees of any dress code. We request modesty be
used in your attire, however our services are not structured
in such a way that a particular attire is required. Jesus
loves you just as you are, we practice the same!
Is His House Ministries a Southern Baptist Church?
Yes we are. There are a variety of reasons for this. First
of all, the Southern Baptist Convention financially supports
the largest number of Protestant missionaries worldwide. We
are committed to seeing people converted, healed and
developed on a global scale and by being Southern Baptist we
are a part of the significant work these missionaries do.
Secondly, by being a Southern Baptist, we also participate
in funding a variety of helpful ministries that include
orphans, colleges and seminaries, printing presses, and
mission communities all committed to glorifying the name of
Jesus Christ. Finally, Southern Baptists are first and
foremost Baptists. That means we hold certain principles
such as local autonomy of the church, baptism by submersion,
and the priesthood of the believer.
Does His House Ministries practice open communion?
Yes, we do! Communion is an ordinance for all the Body of
Christ. Therefore, we believe that any believer in Christ
has the privilege of participating in this ordinance whether
or not one is a member of H.H.M.
Does His House Ministries have any business meetings?
Rarely. We are a church committed to leading individuals to
be complete in Jesus Christ thru evangelism, discipleship,
worship, fellowship and ministry according to the word of
God. This mission dictates all our ministry endeavors. Since
all in leadership are committed to this mission, any
decisions that are made are decisions that help fulfill the
mission of our church. This minimizes the amount of meetings
we have and maximizes the amount of ministry we do.
Normally, we have one annual business meeting in order to
pass the annual church budget.
